Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards celebrated its 6th edition on 24 June 2026 at the Palms Ballroom, Dusit Thani Lakeview Cairo. The industry gathering recognized the organizations, projects and professionals that made a measurable contribution to Egypt's construction industry.
Supported by Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) as the Headline Sponsor, the awards recognized excellence across 18 categories, recognizing achievements in project delivery, sustainability, technology, leadership and business performance.
Among this year's top honours, Orascom Construction was named Contractor of the Year, recognizing its contribution to delivering major construction projects across Egypt.
The award recognizing key project sectors highlighted developments influencing the country's built environment. Genedy Construction took home the trophy for the Conservation & Heritage Initiative of the Year for the Fustat Hills Park (Telal Al Fustat) project, owned by the Ministry of Housing / Central Agency for Reconstruction. ACUD was recognized with the Digital Transformation of the Year award.
Additional winners included The Arab Contractors (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.), recognized for Smart City Initiative of the Year for The Central Park (Capital Park) in the New Administrative Capital (Green River) project, owned by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, New Urban Communities Authority. Hassan Allam Construction received Innovation of the Year for the TBM Metro Line 4 Terminal 7 project.
Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards continue to recognize the companies, projects, initiatives, individuals and teams redefining industry standards and raising the bar in design, contracting, engineering, infrastructure and sustainability. From major infrastructure developments and heritage restoration to smart city initiatives and innovation in construction methods, this year's winners reflect the breadth of expertise and progress across the industry.
